The epic life of a world class artist, jammed into 6 minutes…
I usually only post my own images on here, but I had to take a quick break from editing tell you that you should watch this video on John Baldessari. Don’t know who John Baldessari is? Even better, this will help. I’ve watched it multiple times. It’s so great.
That resounding moments where these lines begin to play the moment you find this picture.
Such a relevant song today. And just in my life in general I guess. It’s tied to so much that’s happened this year.
I miss you man. I wish I would just see you smile and laugh one last time. I teared up so close to crying during Psych class today, it caught me so off guard. We were talking about how people cope with loss, death in particular. I don’t think I really got to properly mourn you, since your death came at a time I was supposed to be so happy. That week was a hurricane. And it still feels like the world is still adrift a bit, in some state of limbo, and I don’t know what is to come.
Some days my art betrays my impatience (and the fact I’m simply procrastinating Chem homework once again…). There was just no fixing this one, and I honestly don’t even know where it was going… But oil pastels are for sure entertaining and blend quite interestingly. But damn they get messy.

I would absolutely love to! But I have no idea how to record music in a quality manner or anything, and I’m not very talented with the instruments I do know. But for fun, why not:) By the way, Jack White was PHENOMINAL and definitely someone you must see in your life time. Mind blowing performance.
I’m now endowed with a insatiable desire to keep music in my life, close to my heart forever and ever. In any and every way possible.
Cheryl Strayed (“Sugar”) might not technically be a therapist, but she’s been doing some of the most wonderful therapy anywhere on the planet over the past couple of years through her Dear Sugar column over at The Rumpus. If you somehow haven’t read her columns yet, you should definitely go and do so right now. You might lose several hours of your day/life in the archives, but I promise you it will be time well spent.

I’ll make sure to keep you updated on what I’m sure will be an exhilarating and phenomenal performance!
Ah yes, I’ve heard wonderful things about it. It’s so mind-blowing to see all three of them in one room, what with all that musical talent and experience shared between them.
And by the way, I’m guessing you may not be aware, but this is your cousin Porter:)

I am having a process moment here, people. Please excuse me.
Frankly, I’m a little surprised my computer didn’t explode due to the overload of win that is this video.
Well this seems appropriate as I will be seeing Jack White this weekend, can’t believe it’s taken me this long to watch.
SAAAASSSQUATCHHHHH. SO PUMPED.
